VoltCode ("we", "us") operates the website voltcode.co and the VoltCode QR code generator (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Account information

If you create an account, we collect the email address you provide and basic profile information you submit (like your name). Authentication is provided by Supabase.

QR code and analytics data

If you create dynamic QR codes, we store the destination URL and related settings. When a dynamic QR is scanned, we record scan events (e.g., timestamp, approximate location derived from request headers, and device/browser metadata) to provide analytics.

Payment information

If you purchase a paid plan, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card details. We receive subscription and billing status information from Stripe to operate your plan.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand usage of the Service and improve it. GA4 may set cookies or use similar identifiers to measure traffic and interactions (for example, events such as sign ups and QR downloads). You can control cookies through your browser settings.

How we use information

• Provide and operate the Service (QR generation, dashboards, scan analytics).
• Authenticate users and secure accounts.
• Process subscriptions and manage plan access.
• Improve the Service, troubleshoot issues, and monitor performance.
• Comply with legal obligations.

Sharing of information

We share information only with service providers needed to run VoltCode, such as Supabase (authentication and database), Stripe (payments), and Google Analytics (usage analytics). We don’t sell your personal information.

Data retention

We keep data as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business purposes (for example, maintaining your dynamic QR codes and analytics). You can request deletion of your data by contacting us.

Your choices

• You can update or delete your account by contacting us.
• You can opt out of analytics cookies via browser or device controls.
